Page Overview, revamped History Graphs, and more. Read on for all changes that come with this release.
New Page Overview Feature
We’ve launched the Page Overview – a new way to see how your page has performed over time.
Every URL you test with a specific set of analysis options in GTmetrix is tracked as a “Page“.
The Page Overview now brings together in one place: a single view of your page’s performance history, its key metrics, and its trends.
What you can do with the Page Overview
The Page Overview lets you:
- Quickly see where your page performance stands and how it’s changed over time
- Instantly find lowest, highest, median, and 90th percentile for a metric/score in a given period (or across the entire available history)
- See how much the average for a metric/score varies across the chosen time period
We’ve written two posts to explain how useful Page Overview is, and how to use it:
History Graph Refresh
We’ve revamped the History Graph – wider width, sticky tool bar, and a more modern look aligned with our current application design.
Learn how to use the History Graphs here.
New Testing Locations
We’ve recently added 3 new test server locations (available on Advanced plan and above):
- Warsaw, Poland
- Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
- Auckland, New Zealand
This brings our global test network to 28 locations!
More GTmetrix Updates and Improvements
We’ve also updated a few other GTmetrix-related features:
New Page Overview Buttons
We’ve added a direct link to the Page Overview in the following areas:
- GTmetrix Dashboard: Every row has a link to the Page Overview for that specific page.
- Note that clicking on the test URL itself still opens the Latest Report as usual.
- GTmetrix Report: The GTmetrix Report header contains the Page Overview button in a couple of locations.
New Sign-up/Checkout Page
We’ve revamped the PRO plan checkout page so you can create a new GTmetrix account and complete the checkout process in a single step.
Chrome 154 Update
Updating from Chrome browser version 142.0.0.0 to 154.0.0.0 did not see any major user-facing changes.
Most of the changes were under-the-hood improvements, fixes, and security updates.
Other Updates
- Extended MCP functionality to include:
- Enabling/disabling/modifying monitoring settings for pages
- Managing performance Alerts for pages
- Managing Alert Conditions for pages
- Managing page Tags
- Fixed bug where deleted page Tags were showing up again
- Deprecated GitHub and Microsoft social login
- Various other bug fixes and improvements
